GR1 gear pump driven by a PR2 radial pump
Technical Description
The GR1-PR2 system is a fixed-displacement, two-stage solution that combines a Group 1 gear pump for low pressure with a two-piston radial piston pump for high pressure. This technical architecture enables smooth management of load transitions. The unit can be installed either externally or immersed, with a customizable direction of rotation, operating in a range between 300 and 1800 rpm with a peak in mechanical efficiency between 900 and 1500 rpm.
To ensure maximum precision, the system requires the use of mineral oil (DIN 51524 and 51525 standards) supported by filtration between 60 and 90 μm. The operating temperature range extends from -10°C to 70°C, reaching the ideal operating point between 30°C and 50°C with an optimal viscosity of 10-30 cST. The GR1-PR2 pump is therefore a robust choice for complex hydraulic circuits.
